At 526 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Winston-Salem, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, McLeansville, Lewisville, Summerfield, and Walkertown. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile Markers 115 and 131. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 133, and between Mile Markers 182 and 226. Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 91 and 103. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 56 and 72, and near Mile Marker 74.
