At 340 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Winston-Salem. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, Sedge Garden, and Oak Hollow Marina. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 194 and 204. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 56 and 67.
