At 705 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Zebulon, or 13 miles east of Raleigh, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Nashville, Wilson, Wake Forest, Clayton, Zebulon, Bailey, Bunn, Knightdale, Wendell, and Rolesville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 132 and 116. Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 21 and 24. NC Highway 264 between Mile Markers 20 and 43.
