At 309 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Whaleyville, or 7 miles southeast of Holland, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Suffolk around 315 PM EDT. Corapeake around 320 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Horseshoe, Lynchs Corner, Savage, Nurney, Acorn Hill, Sharon, and Somerton.
