At 757 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Greensboro, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Burlington, Graham, Hillsborough, Mebane, Elon, McLeansville, Summerfield, Gibsonville, and Stokesdale. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 163 and 164. Interstate 40 near Mile Marker 142, near Mile Marker 145, between Mile Markers 148 and 162, and Mile Marker 208 and near Mile Marker 259.
