Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

HAZARD...Occasional lighting, heavy rain, and wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Greensboro, High Point, McLeansville, Summerfield, Gibsonville, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Lake Guilford Mackintosh Marina, Forest Oaks, and Lake Jeanette Marina. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile Markers 113 and 131. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 139, and between Mile Markers 206 and 226. Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 89 and 103. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 65 and 76.
