At 1005 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Cofield to near Ahoskie. Movement was east to southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Ahoskie, Cofield, Powellsville, and Harrellsville around 1010 PM EDT. Ryland and Colerain around 1030 PM EDT. Tyner around 1035 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Goose Pond, Whites Crossroads, Tunis, Gliden, Earleys, Newsome Store, Arrowhead Beach, Peach, Chowan Beach, and Parkville.
