At 449 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Hamlet to 6 miles northwest of Laurinburg to near Mccoll. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Fort Bragg, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Maxton, and Hoffman.
