At 314 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Sanford, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Pope AAF, Spring Lake, Vass, Cameron, Pineview, Lemon Springs, and Bonnie Doone.
