At 458 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout over Florence, or 20 miles east of James City, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Whortonsville, Nc Pamlico, and Merritt around 505 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Stonewall, Vandemere, and Mesic.
