At 535 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles west of Oxford. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Oxford, Stem, Berea, Moriah, and Lake Butner. This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 197 and 207.
