At 105 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Leasburg, or near Roxboro, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Oxford, Roxboro, Hillsborough, Butner, Rougemont, Concord, Stem, Carr, Efland, and Lake Michie. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 163 and 168, and between Mile Markers 194 and 207. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 158 and 162, and between Mile Markers 259 and 261.
