At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from ner Gibsonville to Kerr Lake, moving moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Durham, Chapel Hill, Burlington, Henderson, Graham, Oxford, Roxboro, Hillsborough, and Creedmoor. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 129 and 233. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 162, and between Mile Markers 225 and 271. the Durham Freeway between Mile Markers 15 and 17.
