At 616 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles southeast of Salisbury to 8 miles east of Downtown Concord. Movement was east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Downtown Concord, Kannapolis, West Concord, Granite Quarry, Rockwell, Mt Pleasant, Faith, High Rock Lake, Gold Hill, and High Rock.
