At 1201 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Broad Creek to Pine Knoll Shores to near Oceana Pier. Movement was north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Havelock, Morehead City, Newport, North River, Pine Knoll Shores, Harlowe, Broad Creek, Wildwood, North Harlowe, Oceana Pier, Mitchell Village, Crab Point Village, and Indian Beach.
