At 607 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of Brevard to 16 miles southwest of Hendersonville to 15 miles northeast of Pickens. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Brevard, Etowah, Rosman, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Looking Glass, Jones Gap State Park, Dupont State Forest, Caesars Head State Park, Flat Rock, and Laurel Park.
