At 520 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Hendersonville to 5 miles south of Brevard. Movement was southwest at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hendersonville, Brevard, Flat Rock, Etowah, Mountain Home, Laurel Park, Jones Gap State Park, Dupont State Forest, Caesars Head State Park, and Looking Glass.
