At 140 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles east of Brevard to 15 miles northwest of Pickens. Movement was south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Brevard, Rosman, Lake Toxaway, Jocassee Gorges, Table Rock State Park, Caesars Head State Park, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Jones Gap State Park, Dupont State Forest, and Gorges State Park.
