At 433 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Hendersonville, or near Mills River, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hendersonville, Brevard, Flat Rock, Etowah, Mountain Home, Laurel Park, Saluda, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Jones Gap State Park, and Dupont State Forest.
