At 257 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles northwest of Pickens, or near Jocassee Gorges, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Table Rock State Park, Jocassee Gorges, Lake Jocassee, Gorges State Park, Sunset, Sassafras Mountain, and Rocky Bottom.
