At 818 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Ebony to 6 miles north of Louisburg. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Roanoke Rapids, Warrenton, Halifax, Norlina, Littleton, Enfield, Weldon, Whitakers, Middleburg, and Macon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 173 and 150. Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 223 and 233.
