At 150 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Fuquay-Varina, or 9 miles north of Lillington, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fuquay-Varina, Angier, Coats Crossroads, Duncan, and Raven Rock State Park. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 309 and 322.
