Bulletin details

At 648 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Gaston, or over Roanoke Rapids, moving southwest at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Roanoke Rapids, Halifax, Littleton, Enfield, Weldon, Macon, Glenview, Medoc Mountain State Park, Tillery, and Lake Gaston. This includes Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 173 and 154.
