At 429 PM CDT /329 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 8 miles north of Golden Valley east to over Turtle Lake, or extending from 20 miles northwest of Beulah to 25 miles east of Garrison, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Garrison, Underwood, Turtle Lake, Riverdale, Golden Valley, Pick City, Mercer, Coleharbor, Hazen Bay Recreation Area, Beulah Bay Recreation Area, Lake Sakakawea State Park, Fort Stevenson State Park, Emmet, Dakota Waters Recreation Area, Indian Hills State Recreation Area and Fort Berthold.
