At 1129 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles west of Taylor, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Taylor around 1140 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Homestead Knolls Campground, Virginia Smith Dam, Almeria, Nunda Shoal Campground, Divide Hill, Valley View Flat Campground, and Kent Diversion Dam State Wildlife Management Area. This includes Highway 183 between mile markers 116 and 134.
