At 418 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles southwest of Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, which is 16 miles northeast of Torrington, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Box Butte, northwestern Scotts Bluff, southern Sioux and northeastern Goshen Counties, including the following locations... Goshen County Fairgrounds.
