At 248 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Bonesteel, or 13 miles northwest of Spencer, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Boyd County, including the following locations... Anoka. This includes the following highways... Highway 281 between mile markers 210 and 223. Highway 12 between mile markers 113 and 115, and between mile markers 118 and 128.
