At 113 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Hayes Center to Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area to near Loomis. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Bertrand and Loomis around 120 AM CDT. Elwood and Smithfield around 125 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Elm Creek, Odessa, Johnson Lake, Lexington, Overton, Riverdale and Amherst. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 266.
