At 503 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 13 miles north of Brewster to near Purdum. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Brewster, Dunning, Halsey, Purdum, Almeria Meadow State Wildlife Management Area, Koshopah, and Hawley Flats. This includes the following highways... Highway 2 between mile markers 224 and 245. Highway 7 between mile markers 0 and 20.
