At 455 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers over Valentine, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Valentine, Kilgore, Crookston, Anderson Bridge State Wildlife Management Area, Smith Falls State Park, Schlagel Creek State Wildlife Management Area, Highway 97 crossing the Niobrara River, and Sparks. This includes the following highways... Highway 20 between mile markers 172 and 211. Highway 97 between mile markers 119 and 141. Highway 83 between mile markers 200 and 222. Highway 12 between mile markers 1 and 22.
