At 414 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers 7 miles south of Kilgore, or 20 miles west of Valentine, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Valentine, Cody, Kilgore, Nenzel, Crookston, Eli, Steer Creek Campground, Anderson Bridge State Wildlife Management Area, Schlagel Creek State Wildlife Management Area, Highway 97 crossing the Niobrara River, and Schoolhouse Lake. This includes the following highways... Highway 20 between mile markers 149 and 208. Highway 97 between mile markers 120 and 141. Highway 83 between mile markers 202 and 222. Highway 12 between mile markers 1 and 14.
