At 545 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lewellen, or 13 miles north of Big Springs, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Lewellen, Lemoyne, Eagle Gulch Campground, Ash Hollow State Historical Park, Ruthon, Belmar, Clear Creek State Wildlife Management Area, Windlass Hill, Otter Creek Campground, and Lake View Campground. This includes the following highways... Highway 61 between mile markers 102 and 105. Highway 92 between mile markers 115 and 136. Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 120 and 122.
