At 1223 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Arapahoe, or 27 miles north of Norton, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Arapahoe around 1230 AM CDT. Edison around 1235 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Bertrand.
