At 457 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 22 miles northeast of Hyannis to near Whitman. Movement was southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Carr Lake, Whitman Road crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup River, Hecla, Weir, and Hire. This includes Highway 2 between mile markers 160 and 174.
