At 854 PM CDT/754 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Roscoe to 7 miles north of Wallace to near Dickens. Movement was south at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sutherland, Paxton, Wallace, Madrid, Elsie, Dickens, Sutherland Reservoir State Recreation Area, Grainton, and Marengo. This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 135 and 159.
