Bulletin details

At 1118 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Bassett, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bassett, Stuart, Newport, and Mariaville. This includes the following highways... Highway 183 between mile markers 172 and 185. Highway 20 between mile markers 254 and 285.
