At 1143 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Bartlett to Elyria to near Comstock. Movement was southeast at 70 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Burwell, Sargent, Bartlett, Comstock, Ericson, Virginia Smith Dam, Arcadia Diversion Dam State Wildlife Management Area, Wescott, Kent Diversion Dam State Wildlife Management Area, Pibel Lake State Recreation Area, Big Oak Canyon, Deverre, Divide Hill, and Gables. This includes the following highways... Highway 183 between mile markers 109 and 121. Highway 281 between mile markers 132 and 145.
