At 446 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles west of Tryon, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern McPherson County. This includes the following highways... Highway 92 between mile markers 190 and 196. Highway 97 between mile markers 33 and 43.
