At 417 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Tryon, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tryon and Ringgold. This includes the following highways... Highway 92 between mile markers 192 and 224. Highway 97 between mile markers 8 and 39.
