At 938 PM CDT/838 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Elsie to 15 miles north of Palisade to 6 miles southeast of Hayes Center. Movement was southwest at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Imperial, Hayes Center, Wauneta, Enders, Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area, Champion, Hamlet, Center Dam Campground, Area A Campground, and Church Grove Campground. This includes the following highways... Highway 61 between mile markers 25 and 43. Highway 6 between mile markers 23 and 56.
