At 716 PM CDT/616 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Imperial, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Imperial around 620 PM MDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Wanamaker State Wildfire Management Area and Chase. This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 41 and 55.
