To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in North Platte.

At 655 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Stuart, or 18 miles east of Bassett, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... O'Neill, Atkinson, Stuart, and Emmet. This includes the following highways... Highway 20 between mile markers 273 and 309. Highway 281 between mile markers 182 and 184.
