At 543 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Wakpamni, or 11 miles north of Gordon, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Cherry and northeastern Sheridan Counties, including the following locations... Hoover Lake, Irwin, and Shell Lake State Wildlife Management Area. This includes the following highways... Highway 20 between mile markers 127 and 146. Highway 61 between mile markers 223 and 231.
