At 1156 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Boelus, or 19 miles northwest of Grand Island, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Cairo around 1200 PM CDT. Grand Island around 1210 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Phillips. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 310 and 324.
