At 914 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16 miles south of Medicine Lake, or 35 miles northwest of Mullen, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sevenmile Hill, Highway 97 crossing the North Loup River, and Speckel Meir Lake. This includes Highway 97 between mile markers 91 and 100.
