At 604 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles south of Encino, or 12 miles southwest of Vaughn. Another strong thunderstorm was located just south of Duran. Both storms were stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Encino and Duran. This includes the following highways... Highway 285 near Mile Marker 223. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 250 and 263.
