At 738 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 9 miles northeast of Ranchvale to 15 miles north of Elida, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Portales, Texico, Elida, Oasis State Park, Cannon Air Force Base, Saint Vrain, Ranchvale and Arch. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 366 and 397.
