Bulletin details

At 714 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Texico to 12 miles west of Mesa, moving south at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Portales, Texico, Elida, Dora, Causey, Kenna, Elkins, Saint Vrain and Pep. This includes the following highways... Highway 285 between Mile Markers 121 and 172. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 368 and 397.
