At 312 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles north of Cimarron, or 25 miles northwest of Springer, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Central Colfax County. This includes Highway 64 near Mile Marker 314...and between Mile Markers 316 and 331.
