At 403 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles southeast of Stanley, or 10 miles east of Moriarty, moving southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of North Central Torrance and Southern Santa Fe Counties. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 202 and 216.
